Panera Bread is set to open the chain’s newest Long Island location, in Islandia,
The new bakery-cafe, located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Highway, will officially welcome customers on Wednesday with a ceremonial bread-breaking at 10 a.m.
Operated by franchisee Doherty Enterprises, Inc., the Islandia Panera Bread will feature the cafe-bakery’s signature menu, which includes soups, salads, sandwiches and freshly baked goods. It becomes the 18th Panera Bread on Long Island.
“We’re thrilled to open our newest Panera Bread location in Islandia and bring our fresh, wholesome menu to this vibrant community,” said Tim Doherty, president and chief operating officer of Doherty Enterprises, Inc., the parent company of Panera Bread.
“Our team is eager to welcome local residents to this beautiful new cafe, where they can enjoy a warm and inviting space to gather, relax and enjoy their favorite Panera offerings,” Doherty added.
In addition to in-store dining, customers can also oder via Rapid Pick-Up® and Delivery through the Panera app and website.
Panera Bread operates nearly 2,200 bakery-cafes in the United States and Ontario, Canada.
