Photos: A stroll through Huntington’s second annual Holiday Spectacular; runs until Jan. 7

|

It was a hit last year, so it only made sense to bring back the Huntington Holiday Spectacular, event organizers said.

“In 2020 we faced an unprecedented pandemic and an era of division in our nation,” reads a statement online from a spokesperson. “Despite this, our community members came together to find something to unite for, the Holidays!”

From Nov. 27-Jan.7, Wall Street in Huntington is closed off allowing many to stroll down the road and see a variety of holiday festivities.

An 80-foot Christmas tree shines in the heart of the spectacular. There’s also visits from Santa, ice sculptures, a holiday market (on select days), and more. [Click here to see all the happenings.]

The Holiday Spectacular is collaborative effort between Huntington Hospital Northwell Health, Town of Huntington, Huntington BID, The Huntington Recovery Task Force, Huntington Chamber of Commerce and Looks Great Services.

GreaterLI photographer Andre Bond took a stroll down Wall Street this past weekend.
