Thousands filled the streets of Huntington Village on Sunday for the 36th annual Long Island Pride parade and celebration.
Greater Long Island photographer Grayson DeStefano was there to capture the colorful signs, vibrant outfits and joyful moments as marchers and spectators celebrated this year’s theme, “Unstoppable Pride.”
Organized by the New York LGBT Network, the parade stepped off at noon from the intersection of Main Street and Clinton Avenue. Participants marched along Main Street before reaching Heckscher Park, where the festivities continued with live performances, vendors, food and drinks.
New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli served as grand marshal of this year’s parade.
