|

It was time to celebrate.

Ronkonkoma’s much-anticipated The Core Station Yards officially opened on Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a major milestone for the 53-acre redevelopment project across from the Ronkonkoma LIRR station. The development features 388 new apartments and over 80,000 square feet of retail and office space.

Afterwards, the complex hosted “Sample and Support,” an evening event where future Station Yards tenants, including Tap Room, Toast Coffee + Kitchen, Lucharitos, and Great South Bay Brewery, offered food and drinks to attendees.

Attendees also enjoyed live music from Randy Jackson of Zebra, a Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame inductee.

All proceeds from the outing went to Long Island Cares and The INN.
