March on Long Island means St. Patrick’s Day parades, andĀ Greater Patchogue is no exception.

ThereĀ are actually three big parades scheduled in the coverage area, from Bayport to Bellport, which is hosting its first annual event.

Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The first parade of the season is set for March 13 and steps off at 11 a.m. on the corner of Snedecor Avenue and Montauk Highway in Bayport and ending at Blue Point Avenue in Blue Point.

Side note: The new JT’s CafĆ© in the former Sage CafĆ© space will be hosting a party all day with Blue Point Brewing Company that will feature the brewery’s beer boat, as well as a hot dog stand and more.

Patchogue’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & 5K

This is the 21st Annual St. Patrickā€™s Day Parade in Patchogue and it’s onĀ Saturday, March 19,Ā at 10 a.m. The parade starts at Route 112 and East Main Street, continues west on Main Street, and concludes at West Avenue.

The 5K starts five minutes before the parade. Click here to learn about signing up to run or walk.

Side note: This year’s grand marshal,Ā Father Francis Pizzarelli, was honored Sunday at Public House 49.

Bellport’s First AnnualĀ St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The parade starts on Saturday, March 19, at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Station Road and Head of the Neck.Ā It will then proceed south to Main Street and end at the firehouse to the east. Click here for additional details.

Side note: The Fire Department is setting up a beer garden that will run from noon to 4 p.m.
