Stony Brook is home to a new 24/7 gym.
Earlier this month, Planet Fitness launched an 18,846 square-foot facility in Brooktown Plaza, the shopping center with AMC Loew’s Movie Theater on Route 347.
The fitness center opened in the old Waldbuam’s space, which was subdivided and now also includes Homesense.
The New Hampshire-based company now has 13 locations on Long Island. The nearest facilities to Stony Brook are found in Centereach and Selden.
