A white baseball cap, a light-colored t-shirt and a mischievous grin.
That’s what a young man was wearing as he urinated on the doorbell and front door of a Plainview home this week, said Nassau police, who have released a video of the lewd early-morning behavior and are now on the hunt for the suspect.
Detectives from Nassau County Police’s Eighth Squad reported that the “public lewdness” incident occurred on Sunday at 1:36 a.m. on the front stoop of a residence on Grohmans Lane. Cops said the person recorded by the home’s Ring surveillance camera relieving himself is a white male likely aged between 18-20 years old.
Cops said the individual exposed himself before urinating on the victim’s front door and ring doorbell.
“The subject then activated the ring doorbell and fled the scene while yelling derogatory statements,” police said in a statement.
In the video below, the man appears to look right into the Ring camera as he sets out to do his business.
No further description is available at this time, police said.
Detectives asked that anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1.800.244.TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
