Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since Sunday night.
The department’s Missing Persons Squad said Genesis Mejia was last seen walking away from her home on Lexington Avenue in Westbury about 11:30 p.m.
She was reported missing to police about 5 a.m. on Monday.
Mejia is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Police said her clothing description is not known. Nor is her intended destination.
