Police in Nassau County are searching for a missing New Hyde Park woman who was last seen Wednesday morning walking away from a medical office in her hometown, cops said.
Amanda Schwartz, 38, was reported missing at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, about three hours after she was last seen leaving the New Hyde Park facility, according to the Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad.
Schwartz is described as white; 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, with short brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a black dress, black socks and sandals. Police said her destination is unknown.
Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516.573.7347 or call 911. Callers may remain anonymous.
