Nassau police’s Missing Persons Squad is asking for the public’s help locating a 70-year-old woman last seen in Elmont Thursday night.
Detectives said Dina Deleon was last seen leaving her Oakley Avenue home about 8 p.m. She was reported missing to police Friday at 12:14 p.m.
Deleon is described as a white Hispanic woman, 5-foot-1, 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said she was last seen wearing a black dress with red flowers printed on it, black sandals, a black sweater and a gray skirt. It remains unclear where she was going.
Rockville Centre man also missing

Nassau police are also investigating the disappearance of a missing 38-year-old man who was last seen in Rockville Centre early Thursday afternoon.
In the separate case, detectives said Steven Sacchi is described as a white; 5 feet, 8 inches tall; about 170 pounds; with brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. Sacchi was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt with an image of “Jaws,” and white sneakers.
In both cases, Nassau Police have said that anyone with information on Deleon’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nassau County Missing Persons Squad at 516.573.7347 or call 911. Police said all callers will remain anonymous.
