Patchogue Village asked its residents through a survey this spring how they want to spend a $5 million donation that must be used to improve the village parks.
Some 400 people filled out the survey, with the results coming back this June. Next, the village will be hosting a hearing on the parks master plan.
The hearing is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.
