Port Jeff employees honored with statewide school district awards

|

Faculty and staff from the Port Jefferson School District were recognized recently for their outstanding work at this year’s SCOPE School District Awards Dinner.

The theme for the New York State nonprofit’s 17th annual event was “Shining Above the Rest.”

And that’s what Port Jefferson School District did at the ceremony.

Five people from the district were honored in the categories of “leadership, fiscal responsibility, dedication, and countless, countless hours of service in improving the educational experiences,” according to a statement by Port Jefferson School District.
