The Village of Port Jefferson will be ceremoniously lighting its Christmas tree this Saturday outside of Village Hall.
To adhere to social distancing guidelines, the village will be broadcasting this holiday event virtually.
The festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. — it will be broadcasted on the village’s YouTube page. Click here to watch.
For those who plan on attending, here are some words from Port Jeff Village officials:
“The village is following all state mandates for social distancing and keeping at least six feet from others and you must wear a face-covering at all times to keep everyone safe.”
