Port Jeff’s Gourmet Burger Bistro is giving free meals to hospital workers May 7

Gourmet Burger Bistro in Port Jefferson is giving free food to hospital workers this Thursday.

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., those frontline workers can pick anything on the menu for curbside pickup or delivery, GBB owner told GreaterPortJeff. You must show ID.

The bill is being footed by Robert Newell, an Allstate Insurance agent in Farmingville.

“I decided to do this ‘Thank You Thursday’ program because I wanted to say thank you to the frontline hospital workers for all their hard work in fighting COVID-19,” said Newell, who donated $2,500 to make this happen.
