Project9Line to host annual Vet Stock festival at Blue Point Brewery

|

Patchogue is ready to rock and support veterans all at the same time.

This Saturday, Sept. 15, Blue Point Brewery will be hosting the annual Vet Stock festival, donned as the “largest gathering of veterans and supporters on Long Island.”

The event is run by Project9Line, founded by veteran Patrick Donohue.

The group assists veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries. The organization does so by providing training for veterans in music, mixed martial arts, comedy, graphics, and performance wellness.

Donohue, who served in the 101st Airborne Division,  is calling on the community to rock out while supporting Project9Line’s mission.

“Bring the family and lawn chairs,” said Donohue.

The festival, which is free to attend, will be running from noon until 9 p.m. at 161 River Avenue.

During the show, several veteran groups will be performing.
