A Raising Cane’s spokesperson has confirmed a Newsday report that three new locations for the popular chicken chain are indeed in the works for Long Island, with two in Suffolk and another in Nassau.
“At this point, all are scheduled for 2025 turnover,” the spokesperson said.
Here are the locations:
- Hauppauge at Route 111 and Smithtown Bypass
- Commack at Commack Road and Vanderbilt Pkwy
- East Meadow at Hempstead Turnpike and Newbridge Road
Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 at Louisiana State University, Raising Cane’s — known for their chicken finger meals, Texas toast and secret Cane’s sauce — has ballooned to well over 600 spots across the U.S. as well as Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, according to its website.
The latest just opened last week in Albuquerque, N.M.
“We’re planning to keep this party going right into 2023, with more than 100 additional locations opening in the next year, everywhere from Albuquerque to New York and Baltimore,” the Raising Cane’s website reads.
Locations in New York City are slated to open this year as well. (See prior reports below.)
