Restaurants ordered last month to convert to only take out and delivery to help contain COVID-19, and many have stopped operations entirely. But there are still some good local options in addition to national fast-food chains. Here’s a list of some local places you can support during these tough times.
Atlantic Seafood

Four Brothers Pizzeria and Restaurant

Manager Vinny Iorio said the down Center Moriches mainstay is doing deliveries, takeout and curbside pickup for those who call ahead and request it. “Overall, it’s been pretty good. A lot of people have been taking to it,” Iorio said.
La Volpe Ristorante and Anton Pizzeria

Mama Lisa Restaurant

Pizza or seafood? At Mama Lisa you don’t have to choose. With specialties such as their “Pizza Ripiena,” stuffed pizza that includes sausage, meatballs, ham, salami, ricotta, and mozzarella, or their classic margarita, there’s a pizza for everyone. Seafood specialties such as fried calamari and mussels marinara are also a good addition to your Italian night at home. Call or order online for takeout or deliveries. The restaurant will be closed Easter Sunday, but it can prepare trays of food the day before and provide heating instructions.

For “Hot off the grill bagels,” Manhattan Bagel is sure to make your breakfast in quarantine much more fun. With bagel flavors ranging from chocolate chip to jalapeno cheddar, and cream cheese options such as Honey Almond and Strawberry, there are endless options to choose from.
Naz’s Halal

This Mediterranean restaurant, which opened last year in Shirley offering everything from gyros to rice platters and burgers, is taking online orders, through its website, app and Uber eats.
Nettie’s Country Bakery

Nettie’s is currently offering Sunday delivery and pickup of select items. All orders placed by 5 p.m. on Friday will be ready the following Sunday. During checkout you’ll have an option for delivery or to pick up.
Nino’s Pizzeria & Cucina

Nino’s is open Monday-Thursday, 2 p.m.-9:30 p.m.; Fridays from 1-10:30 p.m. and Saturdays 2-9:30 p.m. The pizzeria has a family package and daily specials.
Tend Coffee

This local coffee shop continues to take phone orders and delivers them to the door. It has reduced its hours to 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily. It also has an e-commerce operation for deliveries by mail.
TJ’s Heroes

Using the e-delivery service, DoorDash and curbside pickup, TJ’s Heroes can be delivered right to your door. From eggs on a roll to hot Italian heroes, Tj’s is open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding Wednesdays.
