The owners of Rise & Grind, Patchogue’s newest eatery, kept the details of their new place on the hush-hush during its built-out over the last few months.
Now the secret’s out.
The breakfast/lunch spot with a coffee bar opened today, Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the former Country Kitchen spot, located at 240 East Main Street.
“I want this place to be magical,” said owner Philip Shum. “And a magician never reveals his tricks.”
Those were Shums words leading up to the launch.
Rise & Grind completely renovated and modernized the space that formerly held the longstanding luncheonette.
“I just want people to have good food and for this to be a hangout spot,” Shum previously told GreaterPatchogue.
