Music school Rock Underground is getting set to host a grand opening bash this Saturday, Jan. 25, at its Patchogue headquarters.
And everyone’s invited.
This is Rock Underground’s fifth school on Long Island. It was built this fall and winter at 15 Oak Street, just east of the intersection with North Ocean Avenue. The party runs from noon to 6 p.m.
Lessons will be available starting at 10 a.m.. Ice cream will be served at noon. Saturday attendees could also sign up for a free, 30-minute trial lesson. (Click here to book.) Anyone who enrolls in classes that day will also get 10 percent off their tuition bill.
Rock Underground will be putting on seasonal shows for all ages at places like 89 North Music Hall and other local venues. The seasons last about three months, the owners say.
