There’s a new sandwich shop in town.
Local chef Santos Argueta debuted his Roll and Bowl Grill Feb. 10 in the space that last housed TJ’s Hero Shop before TJ’s moved.
“I’m excited,” Argueta said. “I don’t do too much advertising, but people walk in and are very happy with it.”
You can tell by the name that Roll and Bowl Grill is not a typical deli.
Some of the “rolls” and signature heroes on the menu include the Reuben, tuna melt, turkey club, chicken parm, egg sandwiches, and Roll and Bowl’s own favorite: the Chicken Guacamole sandwich.
The “bowl” part of the name refers to their offerings of salads and rice bowls.
Customers can also choose from a list of burgers, wraps, paninis, quesadillas, and omelets.
There’s even a kids menu with options like mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers.
Argueta said that as busy as people are, quality sandwich shops are always in demand. He wants his selection of sandwiches to be as fresh, tasty, and convenient as possible for customers.
Roll and Bowl is located at 508 East Main Street in East Patchogue.
