There’s new leadership at the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce.
Ed McNamara, a licensed insurance agent, has just been elected president, and Michael DelRosso is the new vice president of the business group located in the heart of Suffolk.
DelRosso is the owner and founder of Union Square Advertising, which is based in Ronkonkoma.
“We welcome business owners and the community to join our Chamber,” McNamara writes in an open letter on the chamber website. “The Chamber presents a prime opportunity for all members to grow their businesses. Our current members enjoy the camaraderie and friendships that have developed in striving for our common goal.
“We are excited for our business community and look forward to seeing what 2023 holds for us.”
McNamara had previously served on the chamber’s board of directors, is a member of the Ronkonkoma Rotary and is both a member and consultant of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Planners. He’s received numerous awards and citations from the insurance and financial services industry, a chamber press announcement reads.
DelRosso is also a lifelong community member, local business owner and dedicated chamber member.
DelRosso “has tirelessly and consistently volunteered hours implementing, planning, and promoting events and other local businesses for the Ronkonkoma Chamber as the marketing chair,” the announcement reads.
The chamber also has a new secretary, Ann Marie A. Pizano who is a SMILE Support Broker. The group’s treasurer, Barbara Roman from Tax & Financial Services, remains on the board.
