The highly anticipated opening of Rhum, Patchogue’s first rooftop dining experience, will happen Monday, Dec. 5.
If you see some activity at 13 East Main Street in the meantime, there’s staff training going on this weekend with friends and family diners.

“We are so excited to be a part of this community and looking forward to participating in the community happenings, starting with this weekend’s 5k Toy Trot,” said Rachel Hersh of Rooted Hospitality Group.
Hersh said the third floor bar will be open — so you can check out the view — but outdoor rooftop dining is not available yet. The doors open at 11 a.m. Monday.
The company’s first restaurant was RUMBA, followed by Cowfish. Both Hampton Bays restaurants are immensely popular.
As its tagline indicates, Rhum will feature island-inspired cuisine and a rum bar.
