The snowfall totals are in for December’s second winter storm, and Orient and Babylon emerged as the big winners on Long Island, each recording 7.5 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
Mattituck wasn’t far behind with 7 inches of snow.
In Nassau County, the highest totals reported by the NWS were 5 inches in Farmingdale and 4.6 inches in Syosset.
