Services for longtime Center Moriches businessman Larry Santinon, 56, of Manorville

Larry Santinon, a Manorville father of two and a Center Moriches businessman who helped run his family’s masonry business for decades, died on Tuesday, Oct. 5. He was 56.

Warmly remembered for his contagious laugh and warm smile, friends and family regarded Santinon as someone “who made each day count.”

“Words cannot express how saddened I am to hear about the loss of cousin Larry,” Marisol Acierno posted on a tribute wall established for Santinon on Robertaccio Funeral Home’s website. “His contagious smile, laughter, sense of humor and eccentric ways will forever be missed. We will cherish the wonderful memories.”

Santinon operated Desi Masonry Supply, which specializes in patio paving stones; pool decks; walkways; and driveway, sidewalk, terrace, retaining wall, fire pit and other stone-related work. 

Santinon is survived by his wife, Pamela; his two sons Desi and Thomas; his mother Maddalena; his sisters Ester Santinon and Wilma Gates; his nephew and friend Christopher; and his niece and nephews Valin, Siena, Ethan, Logan and Luke. Larry was predeceased by his father, Desio.

25 Ocean Ave. in Center Moriches
Tuesday, Oct. 12
9:30 a.m.

Entombment will occur following the funeral mass at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
