The long-awaited return of South Bay Cinemas is finally here.
The independent theater, located at 495 W. Montauk Highway in West Babylon, announced a Friday, July 26, opening date on its Facebook page.

The theater had been closed since 2016 to undergo renovations.
The revamped South Bay Cinemas now features five screens, each with luxury recliner seating. The theater also upgraded its interior and an expanded selection of food and drink options that includes full-service bar and lounge area, according to News 12.
