Silver Alert: Farmingville man with Alzheimer’s last seen crossing Throgs Neck

Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Farmingville man with Alzheimer’s disease who was last seen crossing the Throgs Neck Bridge in the early morning hours of Thursday.

Joseph Criscione, 88, who lives on Spruce Circle, was last seen leaving Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday.

His blue Jaguar F-Pace — New York state registration DKX6028 — was spotted traveling west across the Throgs Neck Bridge at 4:20 a.m. Thursday, almost eight hours after he left the hospital.

Criscione is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black jeans.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911 or Suffolk Police Sixth Squad detectives at 631.854.8652.
