Babylon’s Sons of American Legion are organizing an event to help sick children throughout the U.S.
On Friday, Oct. 12, the group is running Rock for a Cause, which will feature live music, food and raffles.
“We’re doing a fundraiser and giving away all the profits to St. Jude’s Children Hospital,” said Jon Taylor, of the American Legion.
The outing at 22 Grove Place happens from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. It will be hosted by local musicians Mike Santamaria and the No Request Band.
The cost of entry is $20, which includes access to the Texas Road House BBQ buffet, beer, and soda. There will also be a cash bar.
“The response for this has been absolutely incredible so far,” said Taylor on this first-year event.
