Splish Splash closes out its 31st season today, but not before offering one final special deal.
As the area’s main water park attraction, Splish Splash has now cooled off generations of Long Islanders. Year after year, tens of thousands of families and friends flock to the 96-acre Calverton park that features 20 water slides, rides and attractions.
Visitor favorites include Bootlegger’s Run, Shotgun Falls, Hyperlight and the Lazy River.
The park closed for three days last week to prepare for its Labor Day Weekend finale. The weather cooperated on Saturday and Sunday, providing just enough warmth for fun lovers to soak in all of the water fun.
And it seems that while rain is on the horizon for Monday, there’s still time for kids young and old to squeeze in one last Splish Splash afternoon. The temperature is expected to reach into the 80s, albeit with overcast skies.
For a little incentive, Splish Splash will let you roam the park for free today if you purchase a season pass for 2023. A season pass costs less than purchasing park tickets on two separate days.
Splish Splash is open today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
