Port Jefferson’s Fedora Lounge Boutique Hair Salon and Hair Replacement Studio wants to put a brighter smile on your face.

The salon—known for its hair replacements and hair styling services—began offering teeth whitening earlier this year.

“It has been great, people are really loving the results,” said Kristine Murillo, the shop’s owner and professional stylist.

The 20-minute process makes the teeth two shades whiter and lasts up to two months, says Murillo. The cost is $129.

According to Murillo, Fedora Lounge became credentialed to offer the service through a teeth-whitening company called Smyle Xo. The Smithtown-based buisness uses “safe and effective” ingredients to provide a pain-free experience with a zero sensitivity product, according to its website. 

Those who want a whiter smile, can book an appointment in advance or ask for the treatment while they are getting their hair or eye lashes done.

“You can get your teeth whitened, your eye lashes lifted, and hair done all at the same time,” said Murillo, who has owned the store for four-plus years.
