Minnesota’s short-lived run in Patchogue is over.
The Long Beach staple’s Suffolk County outpost on West Main Street — which opened in March 2023 after Local Burger Co. left — has been taken over by Spycoast of Port Jefferson.
(The original Minnesota’s location will continue to operate in Long Beach.)
Spycoast Kitchen & Cocktails held a soft opening bash at their new, second location at 76 W. Main St. tonight, Thursday, Feb. 29.
The Spycoast ownership team includes a Patchogue local, Patrick Haufe, a 2006 graduate from Patchogue-Medford High School. He described the new location as a family-friendly atmosphere.
“A place you can come with your family,” he said. “We want to be your local neighborhood bar and grille.”
Haufe and his ownership team, which also includes Sean Chamberlain and Mitch LaBianca, revived the iconic Port Jefferson pub during the pandemic, taking over the space in May of 2021.
They later completed a renovation of the space. And now, three years later, they are on their second location.
The Patchogue Spycoast will open to the public on Friday, March 1, at noon.
