St. Joe's Melissa Kuehnle of Medford honored by LIBN

|

Melissa Kuehnle

She’s a director of communications and external relations at St. Joseph’s College.

She serves as the Greater Patchogue Chamber Commerce board’s 2nd vice president, marketing committee chair and social media manager.

Oh, and she’s a food writer for greaterpatchogue.com.

Now Melissa Kuehnle of Medford can add Long Island Business News honoree to her list.

Kuehnle, who lives in Medford, was honored by the paper at this month’s inaugural Excellence in Communication Awards.

A reception was held Thursday at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

Asked by the LIBN about her passions in life and business, Kuehnle said “creativity and connecting.”

How about her proudest moment in business?

“This is it!” she told the paper. “To be honored for the work I do on a daily basis is so gratifying.”

Kuehnle was nominated by the chamber’s president, Jacqueline Hensley.

“Melissa has played such a huge roll for the chamber, helping us rebrand and adjust to the new marketing strategies like social media,” she said. “She works so hard to promote the chamber and the greater Patchogue area, and all with two little ones at home! Melissa is certainly an asset to have and I am thrilled she was awarded with this honor. She is very deserving.”
