Members of the local community spent part of last Saturday checking out Stony Brook Medicine’s new children’s hospital.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the public was given tours of the new four-story facility, which will begin seeing patients on Nov. 17.
As previously reported, Stony Brook Medicine held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last month celebrating the completion of the $73-million facility.
