Married Suffolk doctor accused of framing stripper after she exposed their affair to his wife

A Long Island stripper says a Suffolk County doctor lied to police, lied to a judge, and lied under oath — all in the hopes of burying the affair he’d been having with her for a year and a half.

Rosana Kissoon, 40, filed a $1 million-plus lawsuit in Suffolk County Supreme Court against Dr. Keith Hoerning, 51, a family medicine physician who practices out of Lindenhurst and is within the Catholic Health network. The court filing also names his wife, Nicole Hoerning, 34, as a defendant.

The suit accuses the Greenlawn couple of a “coordinated campaign” to punish Kissoon after she told the doctor’s bride about the affair — a campaign the complaint says was built on a sworn lie about a “Scarface” movie poster depicting actor Al Pacino holding a prop gun.

The Hoernings’ attorney, Bruce Barket, called the lawsuit an extortion attempt, telling the Daily Mail his clients have texts and voice recordings that tell a different story.

“A man makes an error and is blackmailed,” Barket told the Daily Mail. “This stripper is different because she had the audacity to file a lawsuit, pushing the blackmail to another level.”

Hoerning wired Kissoon money and told her in writing, “I love you,” “I will give you what you want,” and “I will find a way,” the suit claims.

But their relationship started to go sideways this May when Hoerning’s lawyer sent Kissoon a cease-and-desist, demanding she cut contact and destroy any evidence of the relationship, Kissoon says. However, Hoerning kept texting her, the lawsuit alleges — including a family photo over WhatsApp on May 17, then notes a week later on May 24 that read “So hot! See u soon” and “Miss u already.”

Two days later, the dancer called Nicole Hoerning and told her everything about the affair she was having with her husband. Phone records cited in the suit indicate Keith Hoerning called Kissoon 18 times that same day.

The next night, the physician walked into the Suffolk Police’s Second Precinct and filed an aggravated harassment complaint against her, Kissoon alleges.

“I spoke to my lawyer and I need to have her arrested,” he told officers, according to the lawsuit.

Then he went to Suffolk Family Court and swore Kissoon sent him a photo of a handgun, whilst informing him she had a license to carry one, the suit states. But neither was true, the lawsuit says.

Kissoon says in the lawsuit that she does not have a firearms license, and that the “gun” photo was a framed 20th-anniversary “Scarface” poster. A judge granted Hoerning an ex parte restraining order on May 28 anyway, complete with a firearms-surrender clause, based on his sworn statements, Kissoon states.

A few days later, Nicole Hoerning filed her own family offense petition against Kissoon, Kissoon says in the suit. The wife’s filing contradicted her husband’s account on multiple points, describing a “gun emoji” instead of a photo and confirming under oath that her husband ended the relationship, the lawsuit claims.

The stripper’s lawsuit accuses the Hoernings of abuse of process, defamation per se, intentional infliction of emotional distress and prima facie tort, seeking a minimum of $250,000 on each of the four counts. She claims the fallout cost her a healthcare job and put her into ongoing psychological treatment.

Kissoon’s attorney, Michael Treanor, said his client’s only mistake was trusting a married man who turned on her the moment his marriage was on the line.

“It’s not just that she thought she was going to have a better life. She found out she wasn’t going to have that, and then Keith brought the whole legal system and judicial and police force on her,” Treanor told the Daily Mail. “She’s done nothing wrong but have a relationship with Mr. Hoerning.”
