Summit planned to highlight retail in Patchogue, attract new shops

|

Looking to address the growing perception that Patchogue Village is just a place for food and drink, the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a first-ever Downtown Retail Summit next Tuesday.

Anyone who owns a retail shop on or near Main Street is invited to attend March 1 from 6-8 p.m. at BrickHouse Brewery to share their thoughts and ideas.

“The truth is Patchogue still has dozens of fantastic retail businesses,” the chamber’s executive director, David Kennedy, said today in an announcement of the event. “Now is the time for us to get together and discuss what we can collectively do to highlight this fact, as well as discuss ways we can attract new retail and maintain the right balance that makes any community a desired destination.”

WHAT SHOPS DO YOU WANT? VOTE IN OUR POLL

Business owners — whether a member of the chamber or not — should email info@patchogue.com to RSVP and/or for additional details.
