Sunday marks last call for Buffalo Wild Wings at Broadway Commons

|

Buffalo Wild Wings is closing its Hicksville location at Broadway Commons.

A spokesperson for property owner Schuckman Realty confirmed to Greater Long Island that the restaurant and sports bar will serve its final customers after dinner on Sunday. No additional details were provided.

The closure comes less than a month after the mall’s upstairs food court shut down permanently on New Year’s Eve. As GLI previously reported, those closures are part of a planned renovation project at the shopping center expected to exceed $100 million.

Last month, Schuckman Realty told GLI that larger restaurants with direct exterior access — including Buffalo Wild Wings — were expected to remain open and potentially be incorporated into the mall’s new design, though no final decisions had been made.

Following Sunday’s closure, there will be eight remaining full-service Buffalo Wild Wings locations across Nassau and Suffolk counties, in Garden City, Valley Stream, Farmingdale, North Babylon, Centereach, Miller Place, Bay Shore and Riverhead.

The chain also operates three quick-service storefronts on Long Island, located in Bellmore, Shirley and Patchogue.
