Suffolk County Legis. Rudy Sunderman’s office announced today that it is distributing 400 cloth face masks to residents in the area to help combat the coronavirus pandemic.
“They are machine washable and reusable. Suitable for adults and perfect for going to the grocery store or running other errands,” Sunderman’s office said in a statement.
“If you or anyone you know is in need of a mask, please let us know ASAP.”
Sunderman’s staff is delivering the masks to people who cannot by his office at 1120 Montauk Highway, Suite G, in Mastic, but the preferred method to receive a mask is to call ahead to 631-852-1300; you’ll be met in the parking lot.
