Swell Taco is on the move.
But don’t be alarmed, the two restaurants aren’t going anywhere. Swell Taco will be coming to you.
The popular Tex-Mex restaurant purchased a food truck last month and has big plans for this summer.
“It’s being wrapped this week and we’ll be ready to rock soon,” said Swell Taco’s co-owner Brooke Jankow on Thursday.
For the warmer months, Swell Taco landed a space near Jones Beach Theater for its concert series. And in Patchogue, they’ll be participating in Taco Tuesdays at Blue Point Brewery.
Using the trucks for catered events is in the works as well, says Jankow.
“We are going to do everything from weddings to graduation parties,” she said.
Food-wise, Swell Taco says the truck is equipped with “everything and anything” for its on-the-road menu.
