Swell Taco will be opening on Sundays for breakfast in Patchogue

|

We’ve got good news for Swell Taco fans:

Swell will be open on Sundays for breakfast starting Nov. 5.

The not-so-great news for those living in Greater Babylon is you’ll have to drive 20 minutes east, because breakfast is only being served at the Patchogue location.

(Along with Mexi-mamosas and Bloody Maria’s.)

Swell Brooke Jankow explained that her brother and co-owner, Steve Zoerner, had been cooking up breakfast for years behind the scenes.

“Steve would make them for the staff and just different occasions from time to time,” Jankow said.

The public got a first glimpse at Swell’s breakfast talents during Patchogue’s fall breakfast crawl, which took place last month.

“The feedback was awesome so we thought we’d have some fun with it,” Jankow said.

Babylon’s Swell will remain closed on Sundays. Longtime Babylon GM-turned-co-owner, Tiffany Amador, is running the show in Patchogue and “was excited to offer what we’ve been keeping to ourselves for so long,” Jankow said.

“We have the most amazing breakfast enchiladas to hit the East Coast,” she added.

“It’s a bold statement but I stand behind it.”

IF YOU GO

Swell Patchogue is located at 30 East Main Street, and parking is free on Sundays.

The only way to get a glimpse at the full menu is to go. Swell’s breakfast will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Swell Taco will otherwise be closed on Sundays because, as they say at Swell, it’s family day.
