A hugely popular downtown Farmingdale restaurant, Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar, has just opened at Ronkonkoma’s Station Yards — and Greater Long Island was there for the grand tour.

Vespa offers what’s described as modern Italian cuisine rooted in authentic Sicilian recipes from owner Benedetto LoMantio’s hometown of Castellammare del Golfo. Guests will enjoy an elevated dining experience, both indoors and out, featuring Vespa’s signature pastas, brick-oven pizzettes, handcrafted cocktails and exclusive private-label wine, a release reads.
Vespa joins the ranks of Tap Room, Toast Coffee + Kitchen (in the works), Great South Bay Brewery, Lucharitos and The Artemis at Station Yards.
And Suffolk’s first French Workshop location is expected to open this winter.
