The 2017 Fall Breakfast Crawl is this Saturday in Patchogue

|

The fall installment of theĀ biannual Breakfast Crawl through the streets of Patchogue Village is upon us. The date is Saturday, Oct. 7.

Though tickets are no longer available online, some tickets are being set aside for those rolling up the day-of in front of Patchogue-Medford Library on East Main Street.

The crawl starts at 9 a.m. and runs to noon.Ā The list of all 15 participants appears below.

“This Breakfast Crawl not only has favorites that have participated in the others, but also brings new venues like Swell Taco to the mix,” said breakfast crawl brainchild and local artist Dave Rogers.

The first crawl was held in 2016 in Patchogue and Rogers said he’s been “overwhelmed” with the popularity of the crawl among breakfast-lovers and local restaurants alike.

“Once again, unique events like this remind us why Patchogue is not only a great place to visit but to also live and work,” Rogers said.

The Breakfast Crawl is meant to mimic a bar crawl, except instead of hopping from bar to bar for wine, beer and spirits, these folks are in search of eggs, pancakes and sausages.

Of course, theyā€™re free to grab a beer, bloody Mary or mimosa, too. (Or whatever else.)

The cost is $25 to dine at 5 locations, $35 for 10 and $45 for all 15.

Proceeds from the crawl go to the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce’s restaurant committee to help fund events throughout the year.
