The Cuban is now a few weeks away from launching in downtown Patchogue.
Located within the New Village at Patchogue apartment and retail complex, The Cuban will swing open its doors on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m., according to a spokesperson.
This is the second Cuban location— the first opened three years ago in Garden City. And there’s another planned for elsewhere in Nassau County.
Last month, GreaterPatchogue toured the 5,000-square-foot restaurant, which can hold over 200 diners. There’s also a stage for regularly scheduled Tropicana shows.
“Everything was from scratch,” Al Vila, the director of operations for both Cuban locations, told GreaterPatchogue on the eatery’s layout. “But it was worth it. People are very excited.”
