The fair kicks off Friday, June 27, and runs through July 13 in Uniondale, bringing carnival rides, live entertainment, sideshows, and all the deep-fried snacks you can dream up.
Among the highlights:
- Fireworks by Grucci every Saturday night, plus July 4
- Circus Murcia, featuring daredevils in the Globe of Death, high-wire acts, aerialists, and clowns
- The Dinosaur Experience and Big Bee Transforming Robot Car
- A massive educational petting zoo by the Sandlofer family
- The World of Wonders sideshow and Museum of Marvels, packed with bizarre curiosities
Rides include The Wheel, a 110-foot Ferris wheel billed as the tallest to hit Long Island. Its 24 gondolas can hold up to six people each.
