The Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale is welcoming the warm temperatures and kicking off summer with a brand new outdoor seating area.
Located at 323 Main St., the popular bar and restaurant debuted “Nutty Offshore” with members of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce and local elected officials on May 13.
“This is really is a phenomenal place, [Joe Fortuna] contributes so much to Farmingdale and it’s appreciated,” said state Assemblyman of District 17 John Mikulin.
“Keep it going because you’ve really made the business thrive here,” Mikulin said to Fortuna, owner of the Nutty Irishman.
Nutty Offshore is the restaurant’s new backyard space, transporting patrons to a kind of tropical oasis.
The Biergarten features an expanded patio, an outdoor bar and a stage for live performances from local bands and musicians.
“We can’t wait to celebrate all summer long with you,” the restaurant’s team announced on Facebook.
