The West Babylon Main Street Organization and Town of Babylon Beautification Department are calling on volunteers of all stripes to help with Saturday’s fifth annual Spring Cleanup, according to the Town of Babylon events calendar.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the rear parking lot at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church at 666 Albin Avenue in West Babylon. There, the groups will be directed to a specific cleanup site within the hamlet, where they’ll tidy up until 11 a.m.

Volunteers are asked to bring their own garden tools and rakes for the cleaning and planting. The first 200 volunteers who sign up will receive a free event shirt, the calendar event reads.
