Tickets are on sale for the second annual Breakfast Crawl in downtown Port Jefferson.
The walk-around event, sponsored by the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and Pro-Port Restaurant Committee, lets noshers try breakfast dishes from several eateries across the village—even the ones that don’t normally sell morning meal items (participants below.)
The outing is set for Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. until noon. There is a rain date set for Saturday, March 30.
The success from its debut in 2018 prompted this year’s spring crawl.
“Over 300 tickets were sold last year and the event went live just last week and 135 tickets have already been sold,” said Barbara Ransome of the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce.
Ransome says the day is perfect for groups.
“There seems to be an anticipated party atmosphere where participants will be walking together and enjoying all the bites and beverages,” she said.
