The second Patchogue Breakfast Crawl of spring is all set for May 21 on Main Street. And tickets went on sale at 4 p.m. Wednesday on the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce‘s website.
(Scroll down on the chamber’s homepage to purchase tickets.)
150 tickets will be sold online. Fifty more tickets will be available the morning of the crawl at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on East Main Street.
All crawlers will be picking up their mugs at the theater before the 9 a.m. to noon crawl, organizers said.
A total of 11 Main Street eateries are participating in the second crawl, during which the restaurants will be offering up special breakfast items to anyone with tickets.
The cost is $20 for tickets to four places. $30 for eight places. Or, $35 to dine at all 11 restaurants.
The organizers put this next crawl together to accommodate those who got locked out of the first one, which sold out online even though tickets were supposed to be available on Main Street that morning.
“I think everybody was just overwhelmed by the demand” during the run-up to the April 9 crawl, the first of its kind, said David Kennedy, the chamber’s executive director. Click here for prior coverage.
Money raised on May 21 will go to the chamber’s Restaurant Community Fund for future events.
