Toastique, a fast-casual toast, juice and coffee bar that began in Washington, D.C., is opening its first Long Island location in Woodbury.
The new shop is set to launch “this winter” at 8027 Jericho Turnpike, between the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course and Trail View State Park.
It will be the brand’s third location in New York State.
Toastique specializes in gourmet toast creations, smoothies, smoothie bowls and cold-pressed juices, with all items prepared in-house.
The menu includes customizable toasts such as Avocado Smash, Smoked Salmon and PB Crunch, along with smoothies like Green Machine and Blue Mystique. The Woodbury store will also feature grab-and-go options.
The brand was founded in 2018 by Brianna Keefe and has since expanded to more than 50 locations nationwide, reads a press release. The Woodbury café will be operated by local residents Chris and Andrea Pedersen, who have nearly two decades of combined franchising experience.
“We believe that when you eat good, you also feel good, and such is the message of Toastique,” Andrea Pedersen said in a statement. “With Woodbury being such an active community and our location neighboring both the golf course and park, we have no doubt the brand will fit in well.”
Once open, Toastique Woodbury will serve an all-day menu from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
