The Town of Brookhaven ripped down a blighted house in Mastic this morning.
The property, located at 108 Poospatuck Lane, is the last property just outside the Poospatuck Reservation.
“This neglected property… was taken by the county due to failure to pay taxes,” reads a Facebook post by county legislator Jim Mazzarella.
Mazzarella said the house was razed and cleared up in about an hour’s timeframe.
