A strip of Route 25A in the Town of Huntington will be under construction for about a week starting Wednesday, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.
The state is shutting down the eastbound lane on Route 25A (Harbor Road) in Cold Spring Harbor between State Route 108 and Terrace Place from 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays.
The work will be happening on the shoulder of the road.
“Flaggers will direct vehicles through an alternating traffic pattern in the work zone,” reads a statement from the NYSDOT. “Motorists should follow the instructions of the flaggers for their safety and the safety of the highway work crew.”
