Tritec’s Brightview Senior Living in Port Jeff set to open in September

Tritec Real Estate announced today that construction at Brightview Senior Living at 1175 Route 112 Port Jefferson Station is “substantially complete” and they are set to open its doors in September.

The three-story, 170-unit complex includes 94 independent living, 50 assisted living and 26 memory care apartments. Brightview Port Jefferson offers such amenities as common areas, a pub (with daily happy hours), multiple dining venues, movie theater, activity rooms, library, hair salon, fitness center and multiple outdoor porches and patios with seating and a fire pit.

The independent living option offers a variety of apartment sizes and styles, ranging from one and two-bedroom apartments, each with a full kitchen, as well as a choice of whether to or not to have a den. Residents who choose this living plan gain access to scenic outdoor spaces with lounge seating, complimentary happy hours, gourmet chef-prepared meals, bi-weekly housekeeping and transportation.

Those looking for assisted living receive a personalized service plan with up to five hours of personal care each week. Their private apartments vary in size and style with a kitchenette and full bath.

The benefits with this package include three gourmet meals each day; assistance with bathing, dressing, and taking medications; complimentary happy hour each day; weekly housekeeping; and a full calendar of community activities.

Brightview Senior Living also welcomes residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia in their memory care area, Wellspring Village. Residents there receive up to 20 hours of personal care each week, a studio or companion apartment and three gourmet meals each day day. They also have access to a 24-hour nursing staff on call and extra security.
